

Laia Vallés, Spanish soprano, is a member of the ensemble of Theater Aachen (Germany), where during the 2026/27 season she performs leading roles including Adina in L’elisir d’amore, Donna Anna in Don Giovanni, Stasi in Die Csárdásfürstin, and the soprano role in Furioso. She appears as Gretel in Hänsel und Gretel. In recent seasons, she has debuted roles such as Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), Zaïde (Zaïde), Corinna (Il viaggio a Reims), and Musetta (La Bohème), earning praise for her vocal elegance, stylistic refinement, and stage presence. She was a member of the International Opera Studio of the Stuttgart State Opera, where she performed Frasquita (Carmen), Giannetta (L’elisir d’amore), Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro), and Clarine (Platée), and participated in masterclasses with artists including Neil Shicoff, John Fisher, and Deborah Polaski. Laia Vallés studied singing at the Joaquín Rodrigo Conservatory of Music in Valencia, completing Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Voice. An award-winning artist, she won First Prize at the Riccardo Zandonai International Singing Competition in 2024, together with the Icheon Cultural Foundation Award and the Eung Kwang Lee Award. She was also named “Most Promising Young Opera Singer” by ÓPERA ACTUAL and received several prizes at the Tenor Viñas Competition.
